Membership
The Mission Church exists to glorify God, strengthen believers, and reach the lost. Membership at this church must be preceded by a credible profession of faith, baptism, and a personal meeting with one of our elders.
MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
I joyfully and thoughtfully enter into a bond of mutual edification, fellowship, and accountability with the other members of this body. I have repented of my sin, trusted in Christ as my Savior and Lord, and been baptized in the name of the Triune God. I agree to:
DOCTRINAL UNITY
I agree with the Statement of Faith which this church believes to be an accurate summary of biblical truth. I will work toward doctrinal unity with a humble and teachable spirit. Where there is disagreement or a lack of understanding regarding doctrinal convictions, I assume the liberty to ask questions and engage in edifying discussion. I will submit to the elders who have been appointed to serve this church, using Scripture as our final authority.
Ephesians 4:13; Acts 17:11; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; 2 Timothy 3:16; Titus 1:5-9, 2:2; Hebrews 13:17
FAITHFULLY PARTICIPATE
I will faithfully participate with this church in regular worship, prayer, study, fellowship, and the ordinances of baptism and communion. I will contribute cheerfully and regularly to the financial needs of this church for the expenses of ministry, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations. I will joyfully serve this church where there may be need.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MYSELF
I commit to pursue a life of maximal holiness, purity, and conformity to the Word of God in thought and deed. I will seek to grow in knowledge and wisdom and to develop the personal spiritual disciplines of worship, prayer and Bible study. I will seek to grow in the fruit of the Spirit.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY FAMILY
I will seek the preservation of marriage and will submit to biblical regulations regarding marriage, divorce and remarriage. I will seek to provide for my family and order my household according to Biblical standards. I will train myself and my family in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, seeking to develop Christian character, knowledge, and skills.
Matthew 5:31,32; 19:1-12; Ephesians 5:22-6:4; Colossians 3:18-25; Deuteronomy 6:4-7; Proverbs 22:6; 23:13
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHER CHRISTIANS
I will pursue peace with all people, especially with other believers. I will watch over fellow believers in brotherly love. I will remember them in prayer and aid them in sickness and distress. I will seek to grow in humility and to consider others more significant than myself. I will be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation without delay. I will shun gossip and divisive words, knowing that they are destructive to Christian unity.

CHURCH DISCIPLINE
I will submit to and participate in church discipline as taught in Scripture. I will be slow to judge and eager to forgive. If I am offended in connection with a disciplinary matter, I will seek resolution within the local church.
